Collaborated with 2 designers on strategic, high-priority enhancements to our 2SV (2-step verification) service that affects 7 million+ logins/month, with the goal to reduce churn and improve login success by 12-21%. Conducted two rounds of testing (moderated & unmoderated) to validate designs. Worked cross-functionally with product and engineering while designing within strict technical and regulatory constraints, successfully achieving alignment and acquiring approvals across several journeys and teams across Scotia.Worked with the mobile, content, privacy, and legal teams under a tight regulatory timeline to deliver a critical mobile app update enabling 100% of app users to control their privacy settings, in accordance with Bill 64/Law 25.Collaborated with Scotia\'s customer experience (CX) practitioners on an accelerated discovery for the Advice+ team auditing the existing automated savings experience, identifying key barriers and future opportunities. Synthesized the various findings, produced a research report, and presented an executive summary to an engaged group of stakeholders. Was selected among dozens of submissions to present a 45-min headlining talk on the topic of onboarding and UX lessons we can learn from video game design at Scotia Digital’s semi-annual conference, FutureFest, alongside leaders from our product and accessibility teams. Was selected again the following year to present on the topic of designing for forgiveness—graceful resolutions to the unhappy paths within experiences that every user goes through.Mentored members of the Access design team, and launched efforts to improve our internal processes, file organization, and operational efficiency.
