ABOUT ISANKA WICKRAMASINGHE

I am an enthusiastic and driven individual with over 7 years of hands-on experience in the design and estimation of Low Voltage (LV) power distribution and control panels, including 2 years of internship training. My professional background spans both Sri Lanka and the UK, where I am currently based. I have been involved in the complete design and implementation of control panel systems, incorporating features such as full motor protection, phase monitoring, level control, and sequential startup logic. My responsibilities have included preparing electrical schematics and general arrangement (GA) drawings using AutoCAD, E-Plan, and SEE Electrical software, as well as coordinating with internal teams to ensure high-quality and timely project delivery. I have also managed the preparation of BOQs, BOMs, cost estimations, technical documentation, and contributed to tendering and post-costing analysis for various LV switchboards, including motor control centers, capacitor banks, and fire pump panels. I am familiar with leading industry brands such as Schneider Electric, ABB, Siemens, and Rockwell Automation. Passionate about continuous learning and improvement, I strive to deliver cost-effective, industry-compliant engineering solutions. Currently, I am also pursuing my final year of a Bachelor\'s degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Teesside University, further enhancing my knowledge and expertise.
