Now, I feel extremely blessed to have been raised the way I was. My guiding principles have always been clear – give everything I have, leave no potential untapped, and thrive by going where growth is nurtured. Honing my work ethic in labor-intensive roles, discipline became a hobby. I found reward in pushing myself in residential construction to diversify my skill base. My next role as an M&A rainmaker in finance played a crucial part in a record-breaking 2022, contributing 33% of total deal flow. This opened my eyes to the world of sales as I secured every award for the most closed deals of the department by simply refusing to rest. This transformative journey elevated me to a leadership position managing our team of closers, who each individually owned the challenge of growing into a real sales team. This meant tracking and facing true individual performance data in front of everyone. Not just the numbers we were required to report, but the gritty numbers driving each metric. We picked up the gauntlet and never looked back. Achieving our impressive 29% increase in closes per hour within just three months would not have been possible without that incredible team. Since graduating, I\'ve transitioned out of finance and into manufacturing, in search of more diverse business skills and experience. Before long, I hope to be standing on an additional mountain of evidence for my abilities.
