About Isaiah Ntekop
Hi! I\'m Isaiah Ntekop, a motivated third-year student at UC Santa Cruz interested in UX Design and Human-Computer Interaction.By majoring in Cognitive Science, I\'ve had the opportunity to explore subjects relating to Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), such as programming and accessibility in web design. This is where my passion for HCI and UX Research has deepened, and I have enjoyed delving deeper into these subjects through research opportunities on campus such as Tech4Good and internship opportunities outside of UCSC. In addition to my coursework, a lot of my growth has come from connecting with fellow students in clubs such as the Cognitive Science Student Association (CSSA), where serving as Vice President has helped enrich my knowledge of my career interests and develop the interpersonal skills needed for the field.My ultimate goal is to continue to intersect what I\'ve learned so far with hands-on experience in a professional setting. I believe that networking is a powerful tool, and am always eager to connect with mentors and professionals who have similar interests. Whether you\'re a fellow student or an industry expert, I would love the opportunity to connect and promote collaboration between like-minded individuals!
