Industry Work:Currently - PowerPreviously - Oil and Gas - Process accounts and outgoing payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures- Perform day to day financial transaction, including verifying, classifying, computing, posting and recording account payable and receivables- Keeping track of all payment and expenditure, purchase orders, invoices and statements- Verifying expenses reports and preparing pay checks- Reconcile the payable and receivable accounts to ensure that all payment are accounted for and properly posted- Generate financial reports detailing account payable and receivable status- Supervising record keeping, daily reconciliation and booking all cash and bank transaction into accounting software- Manage an appropriate finance control framework and ensure consistent application- Ensure timely completion and submission of periodic and annual financials- Provide everyday cash position, estimate and analysis- Manage collection, handling and payout of cash- Preparation of Income tax accounts and returns- Prepare all tax papers on regular basis and handle all information data request- Responsible for the tax audit of the business unit in conjunction with the external auditors- Maintain tax balance on general ledger- Monthly, compute taxes owed, prepare tax returns, ensure prompt payment of taxes and obtain tax clearance certificate- Preparing of invoices and supporting documents- Prepares yearly financial reports and ensure the accuracy and efficiency of IFRS reporting- Managing all company loans and borrowings- Maintain records of national personnel - related data (payroll, personal information, leaves, turnover rate etc) in both paper and the database and ensure all employment requirement are met- Computes, records, analyzes and report on the VAT, WHT, PAYE, CIT and all other taxes and levies as may be arising from the transaction of the business units and the group-Ensure that all regulatory and compliance registration and clearance needed by the business units are up to date- Focused on the tax liabilities of the project, business unit and the group- Daily posting accounting entries and transaction into the accounting software.
