About Isaiah Martinez
I am currently a Business Operations Analyst at Sandia National Laboratories. I support the Nuclear Deterrence portfolio as a Program Analyst for five programs across the portfolio. The programs I support have an annual budget in excess of $300M. In my role, I utilize various financial tools such as Microsoft PowerBI, Excel, SQL, Python, Oracle, SharePoint, InfoPaths, and various internal tools. My role requires the ability to collaborate with stakeholders, partner with technical staff, enhance/improve processes, conduct financial analysis, project costs and funding, and a variety of other financial skills while paying attention to detail.I passed Level I of the CFA Program and am currently a Level II candidate, preparing for the May 2026 examination. Through the CFA Program, I have developed a strong foundation in financial reporting and analysis, valuation, economics, and portfolio management.I graduated from the MBA program with a concentration in finance at UNM in May of 2022. I received my BBA from UNM with a concentration in accounting and a minor in economics. My education background has given me the opportunity to strengthen my knowledge and reinforce the aspects of business that I am passionate about. I enjoy working within teams, thinking strategically and critically, and I am eager to learn.In my career, I aspire to apply myself to the fullest extent and remain ambitious.
