ABOUT ISAIAH GRAYS

Isaiah Grays is an undergraduate student at George Mason University studying Government and International Politics. Grays lived in Michigan until he started his undergraduate studies in August 2024.Grays in his freshman year was elected and currently serves as the 46th Student Body President of George Mason University.Grays served as a Spring 2025 Congressional Intern for Congressman John James (MI-10). His leadership background includes serving as President of Grand Blanc High School, and representing Michigan at the Conference on National Affairs (CONA). As a first-year attendee, Grays was selected as an Alternate Presiding Officer, where he was recognized for his ability to move the 600 delegates through his speeches on American governance. He also served as a U.S. Youth Advisor to the United Nations Ocean Decade’s 4th Cohort, co-authoring the Education Toolkit presented at the 2024 UN Ocean Decade Conference in Spain.Grays’s co-authored research, “An Evaluation of Key Indicators in Genesee County, Michigan, to Reveal the Environmental and Health Impacts of Historic Underinvestment Using the Climate and Economic Justice Screening Tool,” addresses the intersection of climate, health, and equity, which he presented at the 2024 American Public Health Association Conference in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Grays remains committed to work in fields that tackle the growing inequities in the American system.
