About Isaiah Anderson

Isaiah Anderson is a lawyer working in Chicago. Isaiah was an associate in the Litigation Department at Proskauer Rose, during which time he was a member of the firm’s nationally recognized Appellate Practice Group, and drafted briefs to several federal appellate courts, including the First and Second Circuits. He was also a member of the Intellectual Property Litigation Group, handling false-advertising and copyright disputes, as well as trademark, trade secret, and patent litigation across a variety of industries, and a member of the Commercial Litigation Practice, successfully representing clients in high-stakes contractual disputes involving life sciences, real estate, transportation services, and other industries in trial courts and arbitration in a number of jurisdictions. Finally, he maintained a diverse pro bono practice, as he has represented indigent clients in district and appellate courts, drafted amicus briefs in support of equal voting rights, and advised clients on contract negotiations. Isaiah earned his J.D. from New York University, where he was a Senior Executive Editor of the New York University Law Review and worked with the Center on Race, Inequality, and the Law in advocating for racial and economic justice. He also interned for Phillips Black, a nonprofit habeas corpus law practice. Prior to law school, Isaiah earned his B.A. in International Studies at Boston College, with a minor in Theology. He spent his summers at the Office of Senator Barbara A. Mikulski of Maryland; the International Center for Religion & Diplomacy—a nonprofit organization working with religious leaders and peacebuilders in other countries to address the root causes of identity-based conflict and violent extremism in their communities; and The McCollum Firm—a private law practice located in the Washington, D.C. metro area. After graduation, he worked as a Litigation Paralegal at Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison LLP, a corporate firm based in New York City where Isaiah worked on matters across various legal fields.
