ABOUT ISAI AMAYA

Isai Amaya boasts a distinguished 22-year career in banking, with a focus on consumer, business, and affluent banking. Throughout numerous roles and promotions in the Los Angeles and San Diego regions, he has honed his leadership skills with a deep commitment to customers, employees, colleagues, and the community. Isai views banking as a noble profession that serves as the foundation for community growth and prosperity, impacting families and businesses. His leadership philosophy blends transformational and servant leadership, prioritizing employee development and offering opportunities for fulfilling and purposeful careers. As Regional President, Isai led a team of four regional managers, overseeing 60+ branches and more than 500 employees. He also served as the Area Committee Chair of the Union Bank Foundation. An integral member of the executive leadership team, Isai spearheaded multiple bank-wide initiatives that enhanced client relationships, improved efficiencies, and introduced innovative approaches, resulting in significant market and financial growth. He successfully led the dynamic Model Bank pilot, designed to test new concepts and learn from potential “failures”. This initiative fostered a change-culture, accelerated processes, and created a cohesive, client-centric cross-functional team, driving considerable market growth. Isai holds a BS in Finance and International Business and attended the Pacific Coast Banking School. He recently earned an Executive MBA from the University of Southern California, Marshall. He aspires to further his career in the banking sector, adding financial strength to communities and developing high-performing teams, while supporting the bank\'s organic growth.
