ABOUT ISABELLE RIVA
A career of amazing opportunity, my values are driven by my passion for artists and the power of compelling stories. With over 20 years in the creative tech industry, I am an experienced executive and producer who innovates at the intersection of games, film, and AI. I have a proven track record of leading product and marketing initiatives for Unity Technologies, a video game engine company that went public in 2020 with a $23B market cap as well as Improbable, a unicorn start up with 2.5B valuation.> Product Leadership : I work with unproven innovating technology and engineering teams to help to find the right use cases and feedback that will harden it for commercial use.> Strategic Partnerships : I help create vanguard partnerships that both inspire tech adoption by experience makers and storytellers, but also future-proof a IP brand’s relevance with new audiences.> Delivery of winning content : I build talented teams, define purpose and overcome barriers. I help clarify vision and empower both designers and engineers to innovate and deliver impactful outcomes. As VP Content at Improbable, I am focussed on restructuring and hardening services and live entertainment experiences for go-to-market initiative that deployed Improbable’s multiplayer video game tech stack. Some early customers included MLB, UMG and Yuga Labs. As the Head of Media and Entertainment Innovation at Unity, I established revolutionary new tools that democratized filmmaking and live entertainment using a video game engine. I managed first-of-their-kind deals with partners like Pixar, Disney, Intel, Live Nation, and Madison Square Gardens, and produced pioneering works like Neill Blomkamp’s “Adam” shorts and “Baymax Dreams”, which won a Tech and Engineering Emmy for broadcast animation. I also led the Unity for Humanity and the Made With Unity creator programmes, which empowered thousands of game, VR/AR, and real-time creators at scale while supporting social good projects. Prior to Unity, I was a Producer at Ubisoft, where I initiated a virtual production pipeline using the Assassin Creed’s engine. I also have experience in content creation, user-generated content, and digital media, having worked as an Executive Producer for several companies and projects. Today, I advise founders and creators on virtual production, AI creation tools, and immersive storytelling. I am passionate about enabling captivating experiences that inspire audiences, and I am always looking for awesome inclusive teams to collaborate with. Please feel free to reach out!
