Contracts Manager @Ener-Vate

I support the full lifecycle of complex energy and infrastructure contracts, from drafting and negotiation to execution, governance, and ongoing compliance. I work closely with legal, commercial, and technical teams to ensure that all agreements deliver value, mitigate risk, and align with best practice across the heat network sector.I help develop and manage a variety of contractual frameworks at Ener-Vate, including Master Concession Agreements, Connection and Heat Supply Agreements, Framework Supply Agreements, and Lease/Access Agreements. I also support the Head of Contracts with tasks like reviewing risks, shaping negotiation strategies, and maintaining consistency across our standard contract processes.I support the delivery of Ener-Vate’s MANAGE service, our ESCo Asset Management Service that which helps ensure the long-term success of heat networks. Through MANAGE, I provide ongoing management of contracts for a variety of private and public sector clients. My role also involves stakeholder management across a wide range of partners, including developers, local authorities, social housing providers, and O&M/M&B contractors. I focus on ensuring heat networks operate efficiently and cost-effectively over time, with regular performance reviews, clear communication between parties, and a strong emphasis on meeting contractual obligations, resident-facing outcomes, and industry best practice.In 2025, I was honoured to receive the UKDEA Heat Networks Rising Star Award in recognition of my commitment to the sector.
