About Isabelle Greiner

Passionate about storytelling and committed to excellence, I\'m a journalism student at the University of Florida preparing to bring impactful stories to life on a major news network. After completing my education, I hope to find an occupation as a producer in a news network station.I was introduced to journalism in high school and had the honor of participating in regional, state, and national competitions. I found myself in storytelling and knew this was the career path I wanted to pursue. At the University of Florida, I am guided by great instructors in the Innovation News Center, who work for the PBS affiliate on-campus station WUFT. I have had the opportunity to work as a producer, part-time editor, associate producer, control room crew, and reporter for the First at Five local daily live news show. I also film and edit pre-recorded shows for WUFT Media Services. I have accomplished many accolades in the past, such as being a NATAS Suncoast Student Scholarship Recipient and being awarded First Place High School Spot-Feature by the Student Television Network. I have also worked closely with the nonprofit as an intern for their 2023 and 2024 annual convention.While I have gained some experience at university, I would love the opportunity to work for a larger market and learn more about the industry, different positions, and how to gear content to different audiences.Digital Portfolio: isabellevgreiner.wordpress.com
