   Conducted nonpartisan research on local political candidates to expand Ballotpedia’s digital encyclopedia of American politics. Analyzed and summarized candidate platforms, election histories, and campaign finance data to ensure accessible, factual, and unbiased coverage for over 5 million monthly users.Collaborated with a nationwide cohort of 200+ fellows to help address the ballot information gap and improve voter access. Met strict editorial standards, and ensured 100% accuracy and clarity in all published content.Since the Fellows program began in 2020, Fellows have worked to research over candidates and officeholders, gathering contact information, social media profiles, and websites to provide voters with robust information about their local candidates. I am so excited to contribute to this research-based mission and play a vital role in solving the ballot information problem.As we gather data for an off-cycle year, it is important to remember that state and local elections are a vital component of a healthy democracy. I’m thrilled to do my part to ensure American voters have the reliable and timely information they need.
