Carry out advocacy and research in the field of social development, including inclusive, equitable, and resilient policies and strategies for tackling poverty, reducing inequalities, and promoting decent work. Liaise with experts and practitioners (including, governments, research institutions, academics, civil society organisations). Plan and organise expert groups meetings and seminars. Draft reports and policy briefs on a wide range of social development issues. Provide substantive support and servicing to intergovernmental processes of the General Assembly (GA) and the Commission for Social Development,(a functional Commission of the Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC)). Support the work of the High-Level Political Forum (HLPF).Thematic focus of my work includes inclusive and resilient recovery from COVID-19, digital technologies for social development, social protection systems, inclusive access to quality education and healthcare, decent work, supporting vulnerable and disadvantaged groups (indigenous peoples, older persons, youth, persons with disabilities, women and girls etc.)
