I am a logistics leader with 15+ years’ experience in the final mile and IDW (irregular dimension & weight) sector, passionate about driving operational excellence, leading change, and developing high-performing teams.In my 30s I became Managing Director of XDP, the UK’s only privately owned IDW carrier, where I’ve led significant growth and spearheaded a digital and technical transformation in a traditionally slow moving industry. My work includes building a results driven account management function, implementing a robust marketing roadmap, and securing large scale national sales accounts.Now, as Founder of YOVOY, I’m taking that innovation further, creating a delivery platform designed to change the way the world thinks about moving goods. YOVOY is built for flexibility, transparency, and fairness tackling industry pain points such as loss, damage, rigid contracts, awkward freight, and costly inefficiencies.As one of the few women leading in this sector, I’m a strong advocate for diversity, innovation, and challenging “the way it’s always been done.” I believe in empowering teams, inspiring future leaders, and building cultures where people can thrive.Away from work, I balance a demanding leadership role with raising two teenage sons and I know first hand the importance of resilience, organisation, and perspective.For me, logistics isn’t just about deliveries.
