About Isabella Echeverri

Football built me. It has been my education, my career, and my calling. Most people experience this sport from one side. I have lived it from all of them. I competed at the Olympic Games and the FIFA Women\'s World Cup. I won an Emmy covering the sport I once played. I sat at the FIFPro table fighting for the players still on the pitch. I co-founded a foundation changing how organizations across Latin America think about gender. I sit on boards. I back the next generation of the game as an investor. That is not a career path. That is a decade of being obsessed with one question: how do we unlock everything women\'s sports have to offer? I bring something most executives do not have. I know what it feels like to compete under pressure and what it means to build something from nothing. I understand the athlete, the media landscape, the policy room, and the business side. I move between all of them because the game needs people who can. Every door I have opened, I have tried to hold it a little wider. Every room I have walked into, I have asked who else should be here. That is as much a part of my work as anything on my resume. The next generation of women in sport deserves to inherit an industry that was built with them in mind.
