In her role as the Chicago CORE Fellow, Isabella is currently focused on two main projects across the City of Chicago in partnership with community groups & residents:(1) Supporting a healthier urban tree canopy in North Lawndale on the West Side through the TREEmendous Lawndale initiative, and(2) Bringing a public art installation to the Major Taylor Trail on the Far South Side, along with arts engagement to the trail\'s adjacent communities.Additionally, Isabella generally supports the Chicago Field Team on their various projects relating to public green/open space and community partner support. She is also a part of an assistantship program with TPL\'s Community Strategies team where she is supporting the On Common Ground research & grant program.
