About Isabella Volz-Broughton

Bella Volz-Broughton is a driven individual who will accomplish her goals. Growing up they played many sports, where they gained essential skills such as leadership, team building, and resilience. Bella has always known that their ultimate goal is to create systemic change. Through advocacy, professional development, and policy work- they were able to spark racial equity in their high school district. She hopes to do the same at UC Berkeley through community building, collaboration, and advocacy.

    As a staff member at the Fannie Lou Black Resource Center, Bella would work at the front desk and greet students, and community members as they entered. Other responsibilities included maintaining cleanliness and organization of the space; ensuring guests are upholding community guidelines; directing guests to various resources and support. As well as, hold space for the community at our weekly Black Wednesday event.
