ABOUT ISABELLA SLAVIK

I\'m a Senior Finance Major and Information Systems Minor at Miami University Farmer School of Business. I\'m seeking full-time opportunities starting in June 2024 - I am flexible on location. Several courses, including business finance, calculus, computer software engineering, financial accounting, excel modeling in finance, and micro and macroeconomics, have helped me develop computational skills. Throughout these courses, I\'ve also become proficient in the usage of SQL, Microsoft Excel, Oracle, Microsoft Access, and Python.During the summer of 2022, I worked as an IT Internal Audit Intern for Victoria\'s Secret virtually, but based in the Columbus area, and I am continuing my internship part-time this fall. I was fortunate to work closely with my team and focused on preparing the SOX general computer controls for external auditor review. I also spearheaded the creation of SOP\'s for each corresponding control for future use. In terms of campus involvement, I currently serve as the VP of Ethics and Culture for the business fraternity Delta Sigma Pi, as well as the recruitment chair for a woman-empowerment organization, sheTribe.The experiences and opportunities I\'ve gained through my internship, courses, and organizations at Miami have provided me with valuable and applicable skills. I\'m looking forward to taking these experiences to future opportunities to help grow my professional development this summer and be part of a collaborative team!
