About Isabella Rowe
Originally from Sydney, Australia, I earned my BA from the University of Chicago. After an initial start in management consulting, I transitioned to a software company in San Francisco and spent six years in customer-focused roles. At Medallia I saw the growth trajectory from late-stage startup to exit, joining after their Series E round, attending their 2019 IPO (NYSE: MDLA), and witnessing the $6.4B acquisition in 2021.I found myself most engaged when volunteering with at-risk youth, so in June 2023 I left Medallia and spent the next 18 months working 60+ hours a week with at-risk groups and in residential settings. I reached an inflection point where I wanted to use more of my skillset, while staying connected to the nonprofit world. In late 2024 I joined Silicon Couloir and shortly after the StartUp Wyoming initiative where I\'ve been humbled to contribute to a mission that supports entrepreneurs across the cowboy state.I balance my role at Silicon Couloir/StartUp Wyoming with work as a local preschool teacher, at Red Top Meadows, and with Exum Mountain Guides. In 2025 I began brainstorming a mountain biking initiative aimed at expanding recreation opportunities and skills for youth on the Wind River Reservation.
