ABOUT ISABELLA ROSS
Hi y’all! My name is Bella Ross and I am not only a dedicated, hard-working student at Northern Illinois University, but I am also a committed athlete. I am a 2027 graduate working towards my Bachelor of Arts in sports journalism as well as double minoring in communications and sports management. I am a passionate leader, creator and speaker that excels in both the classroom and on the field. I like to compete and will use my competitive spirit to push myself in my work, my thinking processes and the projects in which I am assigned. As a student, I pride myself on maintaining a 4.0 GPA while balancing sport, social life and family time - some other achievements include making the Dean\'s list every semester that I have been at NIU as well as being named to Captains Council in only my second year with the program. With a background in athletics, I am looking to pursue sports marketing and digital content coordinating - I enjoy capturing moments of success and camaraderie that the world outside of sports may not see all of the time. My lifelong goal is to lead with intention and grace in everything I do. I want to help people who may not have the opportunities or resources at hand to succeed; to shine a light on those who have been in the dark and to do so by giving them a platform and a chance to be seen.
