About Isabella Moscoe

I’m a Princeton University graduate with a degree in Public and International Affairs and focused studies in Global Health and Cognitive Science. I’m currently serving as a ReachOut Fellow with the Western Cape Government, where I work on designing and implementing inclusive health policy frameworks aimed at improving healthcare accessibility for marginalized communities. My work is rooted in a strong belief that health systems should reflect the needs and lived experiences of those they serve. At the Western Cape Department of Health and Wellness, I’ve contributed to the innovation of public health tools to make information and services more accessible, while coordinating across departments and civil society partners to support trauma-informed, equity-driven planning. My academic and professional experiences reflect a clear through-line: a commitment to healthcare access, particularly for those historically excluded from care. I wrote my senior thesis on improving access to gender-affirming healthcare for transgender and gender-diverse individuals in the Western Cape, further deepening my understanding of how to navigate systems change in real-world, resource-constrained settings. I bring strong organization, collaborative problem-solving, and communication skills to every role and I’m passionate about building more inclusive, compassionate systems that work for everyone.
