About Isabella Menendez

Currently working as an Engineer II in Becton Dickinson\'s Engineer Development Program (EDP). I recently graduated with a MS in Bioengineering & Innovation Design at the CBID program at Johns Hopkins, with a focus on hemolysis in the Emergency Department and vector surveillance for malaria in Uganda. My Bachelor\'s is in Mechanical Engineering from Northwestern, with a concentration in Design.I\'ve worked in Data Science Research for the SONIC Lab at Northwestern as well as conducted research and developed a game for a neuroscience project with the Dynamic Brain Lab in the Feinberg School of Medicine. My past internships include working as an Engineering Intern at KPMG and Siemens Healthineers. I also was the Chief Engineer of the Northwestern Formula Racing team from 20••••24, where we design, build and race an electric race car every year. My interests focus on the medical device industry and the connection between biomimetics and design. I\'m always looking to expand my skills and take a holistic approach as I further my education and experiences.
