About Isabella Furlan
A charismatic candidate with a well-rounded skillset, I am currently a Master\'s Degree student at the University of Illinois Chicago, in the Design Graduate Program, and former undergraduate student at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (UIUC), I specialize in graphic design and illustration, urban planning, design, and community outreach development. Currently working at The Field Museum as a Field Guides Design Intern while attending school, I aspire to get my masters degree in Design with a concentration on Urban Design in the near future. Before starting grad school, I worked at non-profit organizations, most recently at Chicago Cares as a Project Associate of Volunteer Engagement, and at the Kenneth Young Center in Schaumburg Township prior to that. I also do freelance work - copywriting, content writing & creation, graphic design (including logos, branding, web design, one pagers, flyers, posters, postcards, PR pitches, professional emails, and more) and Etsy consultations, professional photography, content writing and business marketing - on a part time basis. I’m always open to business inquiries and requests in regards to my freelance work, so feel free to shoot me a message or get in contact! I also have a website you can visit for samples of my art and design work: My other hobbies include illustration, interior design, drawing, painting with watercolors, listening to music and attending concerts, running or walking in Humboldt Park, yoga, and curating my own online vintage clothing store.
