ABOUT ISABELLA CUEVAS
I completed my Master\'s in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family at Pepperdine University. My dedication lies in promoting, advocating for, and teaching the significance of mental and physical health. Prior to my master\'s program, I earned a Bachelor\'s in Clinical Psychology and an A.A. in Biology from Holy Cross College in Notre Dame, Indiana.During my graduate program, I worked at Cancer Support Community in Redondo Beach, California, focusing on community mental health awareness and outpatient cancer treatment. My role involved supporting cancer patients, families, caregivers, children, and medical staff, while actively engaging the South Bay community to promote awareness, alliance, and advocacy for this population.Currently, I am actively engaged with Golden Touch NIL / Golden Minds, where we aim to provide a platform for student-athletes in the tri-campus community (University of Notre Dame, Holy Cross College, and Saint Mary’s College) to address mental health, implement prevention tools, foster a supportive space for wellness and collaborate with our student-athletes daily.My fervor for sports, health, and mental well-being drives me with a core commitment to ensuring individuals feel seen and understood, fostering trusted relationships, advocating, and effecting positive change.
