As the Public Policy and Advocacy Coordinator at Providers\' Council, I conduct in-depth research and analysis of the state budget, focusing on key line items relevant to the human services sector. I engage with Council members to assess funding needs and track legislation impacting our field, drafting bills and testimony for public hearings and events.I am the project manager for The Caring Force, our grassroots advocacy campaign, developing its strategic growth plan, managing digital campaigns, and organizing impactful events like State House rallies and contests. I also maintain our online presence across social media and web platforms, ensuring timely and engaging content. Additionally, I lead CareVote, the Council’s nonpartisan voter engagement initiative, where I drive efforts to empower members and the broader community through voter education and participation.Through these efforts, I collaborate closely with legislators and public officials, advocating for policies that strengthen our sector. I also provide trainings to help member organizations integrate advocacy into their work, fostering a culture of active civic engagement.
