ABOUT ISABEL BUCKLES

As an Assistant Headteacher at Meopham School, I am responsible for the safeguarding and wellbeing of students, as well as the leadership and development of the policies and processes for Behaviour Management.This includes implementation of DfE guidance and delivering training to colleagues. I have been in this role for over a year, and I am passionate about creating a safe, supportive, and stimulating learning environment for every child, whilst challenging and coaching colleagues to also achieve this aim. In addition to these responsibilities I have been working with Wilmott Dixon through the construction phase of a School Expansion Project, ensuring that the programme meets the school needs, working closely with the County Council and the Contractor to ensure successful programme delivery.I have over four years of experience of Leadership in secondary schools, including Harris Academy Orpington, where I was the Head of Maths for two years. I have a proven track record of improving student outcomes, developing effective pedagogy, and facilitating collaborative learning. Prior to a career in teaching, I was a qualified project manager, with MSP and APM certifications, and received a Master\'s degree in Management from the University of Bristol. I have strong skills in problem solving, data analysis, and team leadership, which I apply to my current and previous roles.
