My passion for conservation and endangered species led me to pursue a Bachelor of Science in Biology, Ecology concentration from California State University San Marcos. During my studies, I gained valuable experience in field and molecular research, working as a research assistant at the San Diego Zoo Wildlife Alliance and a research volunteer at the Maldives Whale Shark Research Programme. I learned how to collect, analyze, and present data using various methods and tools, such as polymerase chain reaction (PCR), geographic information systems (GIS), and statistical software.
