ABOUT ISABEL KVEDER
I have an eclectic background of experiences and skills spanning the creative industry, communications, tech, and science. I am currently building relevant experience for a career in psychology, working within the SEND space and volunteering with the NHS. I hold a BA in Film Studies and English Literature (First Class Honours) from Trinity College Dublin and an MSc in Psychology from Queen Mary University of London (Distinction). Former senior account executive at WPP’s tech PR agency (Axicom), former intern at the Shoah Foundation and the United Nations Development Programme. Former cognitive neuroscience intern at QMUL, using electroencephalography (EEG) to investigate how performing a motor action may affect social reward processing. My MSc Dissertation, “Sound Familiar: Investigating Explicit and Implicit Own-Accent Bias Amongst Liverpudlians”, is currently under review for publication, and will be presented at this year’s Colloquium of the British Association of Academic Phoneticians.
