About Isabel Ivey
I am passionate about health, service, and continuous growth, and I am currently pursuing a career in nursing.I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies with an emphasis on Health and Illness from the University of California, Berkeley. My studies explored health through a multidisciplinary lens, integrating biological, social, and behavioral perspectives to better understand the complex factors that influence health, disease, and healthcare systems.I later completed a Master of Science in Management at the University of Florida, where I developed a strong foundation in leadership, strategy, and organizational decision-making. My graduate experience strengthened my ability to think critically, collaborate effectively, and approach challenges with both analytical and strategic perspectives.In addition to my academic background, I had the honor of representing the United States as a member of the U.S. National Team in swimming. During my collegiate career, I was a 34-time All-American, multi-time SEC and Pac-12 Champion, and a three-time NCAA Champion. Competing at an elite level instilled discipline, resilience, and a deep appreciation for teamwork—qualities that continue to shape my approach to both personal and professional growth.I will begin the Accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing (ABSN) program at the University of Florida in May 2026 as I take the next step toward becoming a registered nurse. I am excited to bring together my academic experiences, leadership training, and commitment to helping others as I pursue a career dedicated to patient care and improving health outcomes.
