ABOUT ISABEL FRIESEN BLANKINSHIP

I am a marketing and PR professional with experience across brand marketing, public relations, merchandising, e-commerce, education, and creative arts. I currently serve as PR Coordinator for Wrangler at Kontoor, partnering closely with senior marketing leadership to drive earned media, brand heat, and cultural relevance through product placement, collaborations, media relations, and experiential initiatives. In this role, I manage product placement for media, VIPs, celebrities, artists, TV, and film, working directly with stylists and costume designers to secure impactful brand moments. I collaborate with external PR agencies and cross-functional internal teams to support press launches, media weeks, music and rodeo activations, and special collection rollouts. My responsibilities include assisting with press releases, developing marketing assets, maintaining PR calendars and tracking tools, coordinating events, managing budgets and vendor invoicing, and ensuring alignment across brand marketing, ecommerce, sales, and merchandising teams.Previously, I worked at Kontoor as an Associate Merchandiser and Merchandising Specialist, where I supported ecommerce growth for Lee and Wrangler and managed production for Lee’s North American female value line. These roles strengthened my skills in market analysis, operational execution, and cross-functional collaboration while balancing creative strategy with business objectives.Creativity is central to my professional identity. I co-created and served as lyricist for The Pyramid: A Dance Moms Parody Musical, highlighting my strengths in storytelling, collaboration, and audience engagement. I have also supported social media initiatives, curating engaging content for Hope Academy. With a foundation in education, I previously served as a Theatre Teacher at Hope Academy, leveraging my BFA in Theatre Education from UNC Greensboro, where I graduated Summa Cum Laude and earned a K–12 North Carolina teaching license. I am passionate about continuous learning, creative problem-solving, and making a meaningful impact through brand storytelling and strategic collaboration.
