Serves as focal point from EDC headquarters on policies, practices, and administrative systems for the field office teams of three multi-million dollar basic education and youth development projects in Egypt and the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) funded by USAID: 1) Teacher Excellence Initiative (TEI) – USAID/Egypt; 2) Let’s Learn Together (LLT) – USAID/DRC; 3) Integrated Youth Development Activity (IYDA) – USAID/DRC (ended September 2022)• Represents EDC at conferences, project events, and in interactions with high-level government officials and donors.• Supports and cultivates communities of practices through knowledge sharing, regular convenings of working groups, and coordination of learning events.• Oversees knowledge management and supports initiatives of three senior internal teams within EDC’s International Development Division: project Portfolio Leaders, the Global Health Team, and the Strategic Initiatives Team.• Assists in the development of teaching and learning materials through collaborative meetings, editing, and coordination of input from diverse stakeholders.• Drafts, edits, and translates regular reports and communication products for donors and external audiences. Collects, drafts, and edits success stories to communicate impact.• Maintains thorough tracking systems to monitor progress on donor deliverables, sub-awards, and consultant contracts.• Recruits project staff and consultants; leads new employee orientations and onboarding processes. • Reviews and tracks expenses against budgets. Supports Financial Analysts on budget realignments and reviews expense coding. Processes cash requests and vendor/consultant payments. • Identifies vendors and conducts market analyses in compliance with EDC\'s procurement policies.• Arranges transportation, accommodations, venues, and visa applications for travel related to EDC projects.• Visits project offices in DRC and Egypt to provide onsite operational and programmatic support.
