WORK HISTORY

Mar 2022 — Present

Director Managed Services @Towcha Technology

Melbourne, AU

Towcha Technology is a proud Indigenous business serving the highest level of Australian corporate and government organisations with technology strategy, development and support. After many years working alongside Alan Holmes the Founder. I came to a deeper understanding of the IT space. What really appealed to me was Alan\'s ability to balance high level request from Tier 1 contractors with smaller request from Indigenous start ups and NFP\'s. The Towcha team served both with the highest level of professionalism. It was obvious to me that many Indigenous businesses and organisations were behind when it came to software, hardware, technology literacy and technology strategy development. Towcha aligns with my values and objectives as an Indigenous Entrepreneur. As of March 2022 I officially became a part of the Towcha

ABOUT ISAAC HARRISON

I’m Isaac Harrison, a First Nations Australian living in Melbourne with connections to the Kabi Kabi and Birri Gubba peoples. I also carry non-Indigenous heritage through the Harrison family from Yorkshire, England.I grew up in Hervey Bay, QLD, and sport was my first passion. After school I pursued soccer at a higher level while completing a Diploma in Fitness. Those years taught me a lot about discipline, teamwork, and how to push myself. My career took a turn when I joined an off-grid energy startup during my trade years. That experience opened the door to the renewable and off-grid sector, eventually taking me to Melbourne to help grow the Aussie Batteries “Giant Power” brand. On Bunurong Country, I met my wife Amy, co-founded Bunjil Energy, and we became parents to three kids. When COVID hit, I wound back the business and moved into consulting, where I supported more than 20 Indigenous-owned businesses across different industries. That work really shaped my passion for helping Indigenous enterprises grow and succeed.Today, I’m a Director at Towcha, an Indigenous-owned IT services business working with clients nationwide. I’m also a co-owner of Jarrah Boy, a Native-Inspired alcoholic beer brand. A big part of my work involves helping corporates make better, more culturally aware procurement decisions and supporting Indigenous SMEs as they scale.Overall, I’m driven by creating opportunities, strengthening Indigenous participation, and building meaningful relationships that benefit both business and community.
