I love to understand how companies work and what drives them at their core. I’m passionate about using data to drive an impact and finding ways to democratize the power of that data.I spent 2.5 years at Lucid Software where I helped to build a trusted analytics team from just one full-time analyst to over ten analysts and data scientists. In that time, I learned to focus not just on what the data say, but also on what they mean. I love using data to clearly communicate compelling strategic opportunities and worked as a manager and mentor to help my teammates to do the same.My interest in the strategic element of analytics is strengthened by my love of the technical challenges that the field presents. I love digging into complex problems and am very comfortable in SQL and Python. I’m constantly expanding my toolkit by exploring new solutions for challenging problems, from using Neo4j to model user identities to parsing log files in Spark.Today I work to help companies to unleash the power of their data with secure analytics and machine learning through the DataFleets platform.
