I serve as the Senior Technology Advisor to the Chief Information Officer at the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC), where I provide strategic guidance on technology, operations, artificial intelligence (AI), and business alignment. I help spearhead the agency’s AI adoption journey by advising on policy development and supporting modernization efforts that strengthen how the mission is delivered.Previously, I served as the Senior Risk Advisor in the Office of the Executive Director, where I provided perspective that supported enterprise risk management, contributed to enterprise program management efforts for the front office, and laid groundwork that would later support FERC’s adoption of AI.My journey started in the U.S. Marine Corps and continued through the private sector and federal service. I have directed IT operations at Verizon Avenue, the FDIC, and FERC, and held both technology and leadership roles at EMC, USAirways, and Booz Allen Hamilton. Across every chapter, one belief has remained constant: “Success is what you define, not what others dictate.”I founded InspireIQ to bring this deep, cross-sector experience directly to people who are building their careers.    Advise the CIO on technology, operations, business strategy, and modernization initiatives that advance FERC’s mission. Lead efforts that integrate AI, innovation, and collaboration across programs and executive offices.Key Highlights- Lead FERC’s AI governance and implementation efforts, including creation of governance structures, the agency-wide AI Use Case Inventory, and an enterprise AI policy promoting responsible and transparent adoption- Directed the design, development, and launch of FERC’s first enterprise AI tool for public comment sentiment analysis, continuing to guide enhancements for broader Commission use- Oversee the deployment of FERC’s Generative AI initiative (Microsoft 365 Copilot), managing pilot execution through late 2025 in preparation for Commission-wide rollout- Provide strategic and operational guidance to the CIO and leadership teams while mentoring staff to strengthen innovation, accountability, and results-driven performance.This role advances FERC’s modernization and innovation priorities by aligning technology, operations, and people to deliver data-driven outcomes that support the agency’s mission.
