About Isaac Belden

I\'m a husband, a father, and a veteran. I am a business owner with an entrepreneurial spirit and a strong work ethic. My military background has given me the ability to be decisive without being impulsive, confident without being arrogant, tactful without being timid. I have worn a lot of hats in my professional life. Taking on roles from sales management and team leadership to supply chain management, quality control, and everything in-between.Through all of my experiences, I believe I have learned what is truly important in life: putting others first, using your time wisely, being aware of your surroundings, helping those around you because they may one day be there for you too.Entrepreneurship is my passion which is why I also founded a nonprofit organization that has successfully supported veterans who seek a new mission through business ownership.

   I founded the Veteran Entrepreneur Alliance (VEA) to fill a critical gap: veterans and military spouses who want to start or grow businesses often don’t have access to the right support systems. We’re changing that.At VEA, we equip veterans and their spouses with everything they need to succeed in entrepreneurship free of charge. From startup education to advanced business training, pitch practice to mentorship, community networking to marketing support, we deliver real-world tools to those who’ve already served and are ready to lead again.Highlights of my work:Scaled VEA from an idea to a statewide movement serving hundreds of veteran entrepreneursBuilt a full suite of tactical, no-fluff business education programs designed specifically for the veteran mindsetCreated and/or partnered on flagship events like Operation Boost, Entrepreneur Forward, Boise Entrepreneur Week Military Track, and our annual 4th of July Pancake Breakfast, engaging over 1,500 attendeesSecured partnerships with Mission43, Idaho Division of Veterans Services, and leading private foundations to fund and grow our programsDeveloped idahovetbiz.com, a statewide directory showcasing veteran and spouse-owned businessesAdvocated for increased veteran entrepreneurship as a path to renewed mission and purpose post-serviceMy mission isn’t to make the VEA a national hub, it’s to inspire replication. We’re reigniting the entrepreneurial spirit that nearly half of returning WWII veterans embraced. If we do this right, veteran entrepreneurship won’t be the exception it’ll be expected.
