ABOUT ISAAC ODEH

With over five years of experience as both a geoscientist and a data engineer, I bring a unique blend of technical expertise in geology and data-driven solutions. My academic journey, including a PhD focused on the geomorphic evolution of deep-water channel-levee systems and their interaction with salt diapirs in the Taranaki Basin and UK Central North Sea, reflects my strong analytical and research skills. In addition, my MSc project on Play Fairway Analysis and BSc work on the palaeobiogeography of Foraminifera fauna in Southwest Nigeria further strengthened my ability to interpret complex geological systems.Professionally, I specialize in data engineering, ETL/ELT pipeline design, and data modeling, with hands-on experience across cloud platforms like GCP and Azure, using Python, SQL, Snowflake, and DBT. My skills in data transformation and modeling complement my geological background, enabling me to bridge the gap between scientific research and advanced data analytics.I am excited to contribute my diverse skills in a role that values innovation, collaboration, and growth, delivering impactful insights that drive business success while fostering a deeper understanding of both data and geological systems.
