As a 23-year old Business students, I invest in real estate and currently own 3 properties in Kamloops. Through my real estate investment business, I have learned to run a tenant based business, develop contracts, negotiate and select mortgages, manage a budget of over collect rent, and pay mortgages and bills. Through purchasing a home in 2013 I have learned how to manage a household/ tenants and resolve conflicts, and how to hire and make payments for contractors. I use Excel extensively to perform financial analysis to track and forecast revenue, expenses, and rate of return on the properties I purchase.
