As an Ethical Hacker and Penetration Tester at Packetlabs Ltd, I combine a robust academic foundation in Information Systems Security from the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT) with hands-on experience in identifying, exploiting, and mitigating vulnerabilities. With a deep-seated passion for cybersecurity, my journey from a curious student to a professional ethical hacker has been driven by a relentless pursuit of understanding the intricacies of digital security landscapes and a commitment to safeguarding information assets.Achievements & Experience:Presenter at 2023 BSides Calgary.Third place in CyberSci Region CTF 2022, second in BSides Calgary CTF 2022, and a strong competitor in Magpie CTF 2022, where I honed my skills in real-world cybersecurity challenges.At Packetlabs, I specialize in simulating sophisticated cyber attacks to test the security resilience of our clients\' systems. My role involves a meticulous process of scanning, testing, exploiting, and reporting, which uncovers vulnerabilities and fortifies defenses.My technical expertise encompasses a broad array of tools and technologies, including but not limited to Python for scripting custom exploit tools, and comprehensive proficiency in Burp Suite, as validated by my Burp Suite Certified Practitioner credential.Approach:My approach to penetration testing is rooted in a combination of rigorous technical methodology and a creative problem-solving mindset. I believe in ethical hacking as a force for good, leveraging it to expose weaknesses before they can be exploited maliciously. Each project is an opportunity to protect sensitive data and preserve trust in digital infrastructures, driving me to exceed the standards of diligence and thoroughness expected in the field.Looking Forward:As I continue to evolve in my career, I am keen on exploring advanced penetration testing techniques, specializing further in network penetration, cloud security, and application security.
