ABOUT ISAAC PHAN NAY
Isaac Phan Nay is a journalist based in Vancouver, B.C. His work has appeared in many publications including Canada’s National Observer, CBC News, The Narwhal and The Toronto Star. Currently, Isaac reports on labour for The Tyee. Previously, he reported local news for all platforms at CBC News Vancouver and reported, hosted and produced The Road podcast for Canada\'s National Observer. Isaac reports stories with impact. After his story about failed negotiations that left hundreds of Canadians without access to coverage for a costly prostate cancer treatment, the drug manufacturer and Canada\'s drug plans got back to the table and covered the treatment. His reporting also started negotiations between Ontario government and a First Nations’ council that led to the creation of a carbon-rich peatland conservation zone.
