My first job, at Action Signs and Promotions, involved standing outside apartments and restaurants, spinning signs, and promoting businesses from the side of the road.I worked door-to-door, selling $20 books every holiday to pay for University. After I made a total of in sales my first summer and over the following summer, it became clear that I had a gift for selling things.A friend in Charlotte referred me to Yodle, which was later acquired by Web.com, providing me with firsthand experience of how a Fortune 500 marketing agency operates.Since then, I have leveraged my combination of training and skills from traditional education, paid courses, and hands-on experience into a unique skill set in business development.
