In this position my team and I work alongside executive leadership, and other data caretakers to provide insights and facilitate decision making processes. We create data-driven strategies focused on improving processes related to mortgage servicing and default administration. In this role, I use advanced excel techniques, Power BI for creating dashboards and data visualization, SQL Server Management System (SSMS) and IBM Cognos Analytics 11.2. for querying and fetching data, and SAS for statistical modeling and exploratory data analysis. I assist my team by using automation techniques like developing macros in Microsoft Visual Basic to automate processes that have been historically done manually. Below are some of the macros that I have assisted with and developed. • I developed and implemented a macro that saves approximately 79.57% of the time it would take to complete the daily MERS reporting manually. This significant time save demonstrates the efficiency of Visual Basic for automation tasks in excel. Programs like this help increase accuracy in reporting by reducing the overall human error that is often found in manual data entry. • I assisted in developing a macro that takes record of Past Due Insurance Escrow and automates the reporting process to ensure consistent streamline and accurate daily reports. • Developed SQL queries and built a calculator tool in Visual Basic to calculate and report 5 years\' worth of Conditional Repayment Rate (CPR) and Single Monthly Mortality (SMM). This along with descriptive statistics, and an interactive visualization Dashboard, assist in decision making efforts of executive leadership.
