ABOUT ISAAC CAVERHILL

Isaac works as Second Secretary in the Political Affairs team, primarily focused on the Elsie Initiative and peace operations policy at the UN. His previous job was as Senior Desk Officer for India in the South Asia Division at GAC headquarters, working on Canada-India bilateral relations and the Indo-Pacific Strategy. Before joining the federal government, Isaac worked in the office of the Minister of Health of Alberta, where he advised on digital mental health resources as well as work with think-tanks in Waterloo (CIGI, WISIR). In his personal life, Isaac is a typical Canadian, torn between the outdoors and the persistent rabbit hole of the internet. Born in Toronto, he grew up in the small town of Canmore, Alberta in the heart of the Rocky Mountains, and has since moved between Alberta, Ontario, and cities abroad. Outside of the office, he has found his escape in cheap murder mysteries and epic fantasy novels.
