Currently Technical Advisor and member of the leadership team in Microsoft’s AI Cognitive Services engineering team, which builds artificial intelligence (AI) products using the latest machine learning (ML) techniques and sold through Azure and integrated in Microsoft products like Office, HoloLens, Dynamics, Windows and more. Held various leadership roles including product leader for Cognitive Services and Chief of Staff for a Corporate Vice President leading a team of 350+ in multiple locations around the world. As product leader, I define product and marketing strategy, direct execution of product plans and marketing initiatives, develop deep understanding of customers and their engagement with our products throughout the customer funnel, and evangelized products via industry events, customer briefings and internal partners. As Chief-of-Staff, I managed team operations for a global group of engineers and computer vision researchers. Responsibilities included managing hundreds of millions of dollars in budget (e.g. people, data acquisition, hardware/labs, cloud storage and compute, etc.), organization priorities, product reviews, rhythm of the business, communications, hiring and retention.
