As a Graduate Engineering Trainee at AtkinsRéalis in Gurugram, I have worked on various projects related to Data Analysis and Dashboard Building using SQL, Python, and Power BI. My role involved collecting and cleaning data from different sources like databases, APIs, surveys, and logs. I performed exploratory data analysis using descriptive statistics to summarize key figures such as the mean, median, mode, and standard deviation, and created visualizations like charts and graphs to identify patterns and relationships. I also worked on data transformation tasks, including normalization and scaling to standardize data and feature engineering to enhance model performance. My responsibilities included modeling and analyzing data through regression analysis to predict continuous outcomes and classification to categorize data using algorithms like decision trees, SVM, and neural networks. Additionally, I developed interactive dashboards using Power BI and Tableau for real-time monitoring and compiled comprehensive reports to support decision-making. I utilized project management tools like Jira, Trello, and Asana for progress tracking and resource planning with Microsoft Project. Engaging with stakeholders through regular updates and feedback collection ensured alignment with project goals. To forecast future trends, I applied time series analysis for trend analysis and seasonality detection, and used machine learning models like ARIMA, LSTM, and Prophet for predictive modeling and scenario analysis. My market research included competitive analysis to identify market trends and opportunities, and consumer behavior analysis to predict future purchasing patterns and preferences. As a Millennium Fellow, contributed to initiatives promoting community development and sustainability.
