I managed both physical and digital map collections, ensuring they are properly organized, cataloged, and stored for long-term preservation. I regularly assessed the condition of the collections to identify preservation needs and implement necessary conservation measures. I designed and curated weekly map exhibitions, showcasing the collection in innovative ways to engage and educate others. Additionally, I provided detailed, well-researched descriptions to these collections, highlighting stories that I wanted to identify from each map. Lastly, I collaborated with other members of the department and offered support when needed.During the final month in this role, I worked alongside my supervisor, faculty members, and students to organize map sales and giveaways for the Vassar community.
