ABOUT IRIS-STEFANIA PETCU
I’m Iris-Stefania Petcu, a passionate researcher and entrepreneur at the intersection of neuroscience, artificial intelligence, and social innovation. I hold a B.Sc. in Integrated Social and Cognitive Psychology with a minor in Robotics and Intelligent Systems from Constructor University Bremen (formerly Jacobs University).Throughout my studies, I’ve contributed to research in neuropsychology, computer vision, and neural networks, often working as the only psychology student in engineering-focused labs. I believe in bridging disciplines — combining insights from neuroscience, technology, and psychology to build impactful solutions, especially in the areas of brain-computer interfaces and assistive neurotechnology.Beyond research, I’ve founded and led ventures focused on learning accessibility, sustainability, and youth leadership. I served as President of the undergraduate student body at Constructor University and was awarded a full scholarship to the Aspire Leadership Program at Harvard Business School and the Aspire Institute.I’m always open to meaningful collaborations, especially in neuroscience, neurotechnology, BCI, and social innovation.
