I grew up in East Los Angeles, a community that shaped my values and my understanding of resilience, justice, and service. That experience drives everything I do as an immigration attorney dedicated to ensuring children and families have a fair chance to be heard — and to find safety and stability through client-centered representation.Over the past nine years at Kids in Need of Defense (KIND), I’ve had the privilege of leading talented teams, partnering with dedicated pro bono attorneys, and advocating for young clients whose strength reminds me why this work matters.
