ABOUT IRINA MELSOM

Freelance Lead Designer. Have a look at my portfolio at: I am a digital design professional with international academic qualifications and over 15 years’ experience creating superbly crafted digital solutions for a global client base. I develop innovative digital strategies and compelling brand assets, combining strategic vision, extensive graphics expertise and a passion for excellence to achieve exceptional levels of client service.Throughout my career I have actively sought out new challenges. On completion of my MFA in Fine Art from The School of the Art Institute in Chicago, I worked in a range of freelance roles and agency positions across London, gaining valuable commercial experience with market leaders such as PwC, HSBC and Lloyds.Successive roles with agencies, Brilliant Basics, Publicis Sapient and Analog Folk, and a contract role with Lloyds Banking Group have fine-tuned my professional user interface skills and deepened my understanding of best-practice standards across all digital platforms. Since 2013, I have been privileged to work almost exclusively for HSBC and Lloyds Banking Group, with two years on the BT retainer account. During this time, I have contributed to an impressive portfolio of innovative, visually striking projects, designed to enhance the brand and surpass client expectations. I really enjoy team working, collaborating closely with UX designers and developers in a highly productive agile environment to deliver consistency across all digital platforms and streamline project delivery.All my roles to date have benefited from my commitment, enthusiasm and excellent communication skills.
