My main focus is on Public Health, Maternity Care, Neonatal Care, Drug abuse and rehabilitation in J&K. I report extensively on the conservation and restoration of water bodies in Srinagar such as Khushal Sar, Gilsar, Dal Lake and Nigeen. I have also reported on the issue of delay in the start of MDS courses at Govt Dental College, Jammu until recently the nod was given by the Dental Council of India (DCI) apart from the non-creation of posts for dental surgeons in J&K and its effects on the oral health. I have extensively reported on the lack of fire safety mechanisms at tertiary care hospitals in Srinagar and the effects of non-availability of internet facilities on the health care delivery in Kashmir, especially the Ayushman Bharat Scheme, since August 2019.

I am a dedicated journalist based in Srinagar, India, with nearly 9 years of professional experience in the field. I\'ve also contributed as a reporter for Kashmir Life, a weekly news magazine in Srinagar, and held the role of Supervising Student Editor for \'MERC TIMES,\' a journal published by MERC at the University of Kashmir. Furthermore, I hold a certification in \'Effective Use of Data in Public Health Reporting,\' which I earned through a workshop conducted by Vital Strategies in Goa, under the guidance of Guardian\'s Pamela Duncan.
